Film Analysis of "I Want to Return to That Day"

This episode demonstrates my audio editing skills in the mixing of the intro music, with this remix created by me. This episode is also an excellent example of editing for content, as I removed quite a few flubbed lines and performed a number of retakes. Also on display is scripting and editorial arc, as I analyze the film mostly following the narrative of the film. My analysis was outlined and partially scripted, but I did not write out a verbatim script, as I like to sound casual and conversational with a bit of improvisation.

How Many Calories Should I Eat?

This episode was recorded for a dietetics/nutrition counseling business, and it was recorded in an office that was not sound-treated. This episode is therefore an excellent example of post-production mixing efforts to remove unwanted sounds, particularly echo within the office space used for recording. This episode also demonstrates scripting and editorial arc, as the episode content was prepared in advance and the material is presented in a calculated manner to lead the listener through the information.

Ethics in The Wolf of Wall Street

On display in this episode is my use of track editing and mixing to insert audio snippets from the film which support my arguments. I also demonstrate tape editing with the removal of failed takes/flubbed lines. This episode is fairly heavily scripted, and as such it demonstrated editorial arc and scripting.

This is Bologna

In this episode of Sh*t Happens When You Party Naked Podcast, I demonstrate my tape editing ability by removing long silences, flubbed lines, and crutch words. I also demonstrate the mixing of audio tracks with my intro (featuring George Carlin), as well as my use of music. Finally, this episode demonstrates my script writing, as the segments were based on pre-written notes and the jokes were crafted prior to recording.
